HOW THE ROTARY SCISSOR HEAD WORKS
ECHO’s rotary scissor brushcutter attachment
uses a 20:1 reduction ratio gearbox and two contra-rotating blades that
‘snip’ the grass or brush – just like a pair of scissors.

A brushcutter fitted with nylon line or a
standard blade can cause stones and other loose objects to be thrown
in the air, potentially damaging property and even posing a risk
to safety. ECHO’s rotary scissor head brushcutter attachment uses a
20:1 reduction ratio gearbox and two contra-rotating blades that ‘snip’
the grass or brush – just like a pair of scissors. This offers safer and
more precise cutting. It’s also easier and quicker to tidy up as grass
drops where it’s cut

A highly versatile attachment, the head is useful
when trimming near bystanders, parked vehicles, office windows and in
areas containing loose objects; ideal for uncovering hidden
landmarks such as manhole covers; perfect for edging lawns, golf
bunkers or grass areas in cemeteries; tidying edges; trimming right
up to trees, walls and kerbs with reduced risk of causing damage
– and with no ‘kickback’.
